Thanks to a poll from Ekos asking what are the second choice of the respondents, we can compute what would the percentages be in Quebec in case a party didn't exist. I chose the BQ for many reasons (not only because it's the one I would like to see disapear, although it did play a big role in my decision!). Here are the results:
The biggest winner is thr NDP who gets 31.6% of the voters from the Bloc. The Liberals are also net winners, especially compared to the Conservatives. Overall, Quebec would be pretty competitive between the three federalists parties, even the Greens are not far behind!
Using the projection model (even though the model is not designed for such big changes), the results would be:
PCC: 16 seats
PLC: 36 seats
NDP: 22 seats
Green: 1 seat.
